Someone told me TPAC was under new management and unofficially a no-kill shelter now. Have you heard anything like this?

Yes, TPAC has a new director. He has been there about a year now. No, they are not no-kill. I am not sure the director believes no-kill is possible – least not at this time in this area. He has made improvements; like getting all of their pets listed on petfinder.com and opening the shelter some hours on Saturday among others. I know these things will help increase the adoption rate. He has also told us that he is continuing to learn and has other improvements in the plans.

By the way, I visited your blog and love – Gigi in her Strawberry Shortcake outfit! What a doll!

Thanks, Gigi is my former roommate’s dog, we have tons of fun dressing her up!

Thanks for the info on the shelter. I’ve been wondering about it because we’ve been trying to have a neighbor’s dog picked up by the pound, and I hate the idea of her and her puppies being euthanized.
