If you are really truly upset about this and want to see action call off, then please write a real paper letter, and sign it. Make sure to include your address as well as any of your credentials as far as animal rescue, and/or residency in the parish. Thank you!

This is horrendous. If, and that’s a big “if”, these animals needed to be euthanized because of a virus, there is no possible reason for killing them in such a cruel manner, except for a sadistic vet making that terrible choice.

How many rescues could have taken these animals if this shelter had just admitted what they were planning to do? How many canine transports do we see make their way across the US every week?
Needless and senseless cruelty. I hope they lose their shelter license. Let both the legal system of the united states and their god hold them accountable for what they have done.

This is just disgusting, to say the least. Why ,in God’s name, didn’t you reach out to shelters, individuals & rescue groups for help? Everyone who participated in this barbaric act should be severly punished whether they were given orders or not. I am sickened by this & hope that everyone responsible will someday, be given a needle through their heart. You are supposed to be helping God’s little creatures who are unable to help themselves.
May you all rot in Hell. That’s about what you deserve.
P.S. I live 1300 miles from your area, but would have been more than willing to help pay for antibiotics or drive down to take part in a mass rescue & relocation effort.

I cannot believe that in today’s time, such barbaric actions can happen to defenseless animals. It saddens my heart that those that could not speak for themselves and put their trust in all of you met such a fate to end their lives. You are no better than the looters, etc., that took advantage after Katrina. Shame, shame on all of you. You have no consciences.

I am just sick over this injustice. We live in an age now where cancer is being cured. Do you mean to tell me that IF these animals had an infectious disease it could not be treated? They did not want to go to the expense nor infringe on their time to remedy this problem. KILLING all of those precious animals was the easy way out. I am so angry now I am not even sure I can continue this note and sound somewhat intelligent. I firmly believe those who mistreat or KILL animals will burn in hell and I hope everyone that was involved in this mass killing does. IT WAS WRONG AND THEY KNOW IT WAS WRONG. God bless those precious little creatures who were taken from this earth by evil wrong doers.
